Delete your THRYVE account
You can delete your account and associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open THRYVE and sign in.
- Go to Settings (from the main navigation).
- Tap Delete account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
This removes your Firebase account, cloud backup (Firestore and Storage where enabled), and all data stored on your device.
Option 2 — Email request
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address linked to your account:
Include:
- Subject line: Account deletion request
- The email address registered on your THRYVE account
We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your login account (Firebase Authentication)
- Journal entries, gratitude notes, fasting history, Future Me letters, and related cloud sync data
- Journal media stored in cloud backup (if Storage is enabled for your account)
- Local app data on devices where you are signed in after deletion completes
What may remain temporarily
- Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
- Data required for legal, security, or fraud prevention (retained only as long as necessary)
- Content in shared multiplayer challenges created by other users (your profile is removed from your account; group data may retain anonymized participation history)
